Heswall United Reformed Church exists for the glory of God. Our purpose is to show all people that that they are loved by Christ, to help them find Christ, and to encourage them to grow in Christ, so that they can serve Christ in the church and the world.

10.30am Family Worship
This is our main service during the week. There is a Junior Church for children. We also run a crèche. The children and teenagers worship with the rest of the congregation for the first 20/30 minutes and so the songs, prayers and the message are child friendly. Most Sundays a family will lead the opening prayer. In our Sunday morning service there is a blend of contemporary and traditional music, the singing being led by a music group and the organ.

5.00pm Traditional Worship
These services use only traditional hymns accompanied by the organ. They are particularly valued by the older members of the congregation and those who find it difficult to come to services on Sunday morning.

6.30 pm Contemporary Worship
We call our evening services “Alternative Worship,” because in these services we like to be more experimental, with more contemporary contemplative music, and with the use of the visual and interactive worship. The alternative service is youth focused.
